About us 

We are a married couple who call Wyckoff, New Jersey home. We have been married since 2002 and have three children (two together and one from Aidan’s previous marriage). Jonathan is 21 and in college, while our two little ones are Justine, age 3, and Liam, born in January of 2007. They keep us busy and very happy.

Martha Brozyna:  I have a Bachelor’s in history and political science from Rutgers University and I hold a Ph.D. in history from the University of Southern California. My specialty is medieval history. Strange, but true, I spent many an hour in archives sifting through fifteenth-century manuscripts written in barely legible chicken scratch (and in Latin, at that!) in order to complete my dissertation. Hey, I am as far removed from the financial world as anyone can be. I am, however, living, breathing proof that anyone can make money by contrarian ripple trading. I trade not only the joint account I hold with my husband, but also separately for family members.

Aidan McNamara:  I am the “inventor” of contrarian ripple trading. I have been using the method successfully for over 13 years and taught Martha. I also have an academic background that is as non-financial as Martha’s; a Bachelor’s in German and a Master’s in political science from British universities. (I was born and raised in the UK). My career path has had more of a financial flavor to it as I was in international banking for 14 years, traveling the world and living and working in many exotic and interesting places. For the last 11 years I have worked in financial publishing in New York City; on the business side – I am not a journalist. But I still come to stock trading as an amateur, never having traded or invested professionally.
